Allan Falconer Memorial Student Essay Competition in Family Law

Students registered in law faculties at Canadian universities are invited to submit papers to The Allan Falconer Memorial Student Essay Competition in Family Law. Articles may be on any topic related to the field of family law. The submission deadline is June 30th of each year. The winner will receive a $150 award and may have their essay published in an upcoming issue of the Canadian Journal of Family Law.

Allan Falconer was an Allard School of Law student who died tragically during his third year of the program. Allan was a former business manager of the Journal. The essay competition was created in 1993 to honour Allan and acknowledge his major contribution to the Journal.
