George CurtisGeorge Curtis, pictured here in 1996, was the founding Dean of the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law, serving from 1945 to 1971. The law faculty began its teaching programme in the autumn of 1945, making the University of British Columbia arguably the oldest modern Faculty of Law in Canada.
